36. Author. Editor.I grew up with my nose in a book, my mind in the clouds, and the dream to write fantastical stories like my favourites; Anne McCaffery, Holly Black, Scott Westerfeld, and others. Books were my escape and still are to this day. My tastes in genres are still fantasy, sci-fi, and now include a blend of horror too. T. Kingfisher won my heart with her beautifully haunting horror novellas.Like many people my age, I was deep in fandom culture at the early onset of websites like tumblr and fanfiction.net. I spent my days and nights not only writing fanfiction but beta reading it as well. It was there I honed my developmental editing skills. Now I want to pass those skills onto indie authors so they don't have to tag their books "no beta we die like men".Like many indie authors, I am self-taught. I have spent countless days and nights, hunched over my laptop, learning how to be a better writer and, therefore, a better editor. I want to make this part of the indie process as painless as possible. My editing style is collaborative, supportive but not sugar-coating, and we work at your pace. These are your words we are bringing to life. While I may help direct you one way or another, in the end, whatever you write is entirely yours and no one else's. I just want to be a part of your indie journey, hyping you up, and helping you find your voice in the chorus of the void.Ko-Fi is where you can request a sample edit!
Threads is where I scream to the void.
